You don't have to be a farmer to be a young farmer!
We run a range of events throughout the year to raise funds for our own club but also for charity. Over the years Charnwood Young Farmers have raised thousands for a range of charities. This year our chosen charity is MIND. Our chosen charity can change yearly with most charity's supported due to our members having a connection to them.
The club was very proud to have donated £1000 to the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance last week. The money was raised from our horse ride carried out in August. The Air Ambulance provides a service for everyone, especially people living in the countryside where access is harder in places. However the Air Ambiance volunteer was explaining that the charity has just purchased two new children's Air Ambulances having the ability to carry children who need to be moved in a incubator but also a parent, as before they couldn't! Thanks to all involved, GREAT WORK!

A massive well done to all of our members who attended the county rally this year! We as a club did really well and came 9th overall! Well done!
Charnwood doing what we do best, socialising at Ashby YFC Dinner Dance
Leicestershire county quiz night. We entered 2 teams and finished 9th and 11th. A very enjoyable evening was had by everyone! WELL DONE TO BOTH TEAMS!
Thank you to Sutton Bonnington show for inviting 3 members to join them of there charity evening where £10,000 was handed over to different charities. Charnwood had a stall and manned the sheath tossing at the event - See you next year for the same!
